Mahler wins reelection to county commission; Frank returned to state House

There was only one contested countywide race was on the ballot for Iowa Park voters during Tuesday’s election. Incumbent Republican Precinct 3 County Commissioner Barry Mahler faced a challenge from Democratic nominee Deandra Chenault, a former Wichita Falls city councilor. Mahler won with 70.6 percent of the vote.

Wichita County voters returned local state representative James Frank to another term.
