Veterans: Special luncheon at Middle School on Veterans Day

Iowa Park area Veterans, Active Military Service Men and Women and First Responders are invited to a special Thanksgiving luncheon, Monday, Nov. 11th, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at W.F. George Middle School, 412 E. Cash St.

Local heroes will be served a complimentary Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. Non-Veterans or individuals who are not First Responders are welcome to dine with a $5.00 contribution.

Principal Darla Biddy encouraged guests to RSVP before Nov. 10th by calling (940) 592-2196 or emailing [email protected]. Attendees desiring to eat with either a sixth, seventh, or eighth grader must show proper identification to participate.
